seek my face… then will I hear from heaven…” — 2 Chronicles 7:14

A Quick Overview

The Seventh Day Adventist Church, Siloah lies with the Nassau Valley beneath the famed Cockpit County in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. In this rural paradise, the church serves the communities of Siloah, Windsor, Spring, Appleton, Union, Raheen, Williamsfield, Aberdeen & Thornton, and has a reach as far as Quickstep & Oxford.

Our History

Just over 90 years ago, in 1934 an idea was birthed in the minds of some stalwarts from the SDA church in Jointwood.  This led them on a journey across Cockpit terrain to the lush Nassau Valley where is nestled the district of Siloah. E.R.E Anderson, Alexander Allen and T. Walcott were among those who laboured tirelessly  through visitations and  diligent bible studies to introduce persons of the community to the Sabbath truth. Pastor’s Message

My Brothers and Sisters,

It is with profound gratitude, praise and thanksgiving to God that we mark this auspicious moment of celebration. We stand in solidarity as we acknowledge His blessing over these eighty three years. On this very special occasion, we reflect on our rich heritage even as we celebrate a remarkable legacy. “To God be the glory great things He has done.”

Today we salute  the forerunners who by God’s abundant grace   demonstrated their  unquestionable commitment to mission and for their sacrificial service rendered throughout the decades.  We remember with great pride those who carried the mantle, lit the torch, bore the burden, paid the price and has passed the baton to this generation of standard bearers . We also offer our commendations to those who served in various capacities, laid the foundation, nurtured the flock and are resting awaiting the return of our Lord.

To those who have answered the call to finish the work of the pioneers, go forth with vim and vigour. Embrace the same vision and commit to the same mission. The race is not over, so you must endure to the end. “Many miles behind… there is too much to gain to lose”.

Grace and peace.

Pastor Rockey Blair

Greetings

Greetings to everyone in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our soon coming king. We are truly living in the last days. Therefore, let us live in readiness to meet Christ as we approach his soon second coming, by putting away every sin out of our lives: every lying, every stealing, every hatred, covetousness, malice, backbiting, every evil, and live for Jesus everyday. Live in love and peace with each other, forgiving one another until Jesus comes, his coming is soon. God bless you all.
Sincerely yours,
Audley Birch (Pastor)
