“O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever” Psalm 136: 1 KJV
On behalf of the Community Services Department we salute the Siloah Seventh Day Adventist on such a gigantic step in celebrating 83 years of commitment given to communities and other surroundings.
Our Community Services department has always played a critical role in catering for the elderly, shut-ins and less fortunate in our immediate area. Throughout the last few years we have had several food drives, educational treats and other community projects, assisting where we can to help ease the load of our brothers and sisters. In the month of September 2024, we were able to disturb approximately two hundred bags of food to those in need. Additionally it was our joy to contribute towards the development of education by issuing an estimated two hundred plus books, along with bags and other school supplies to children of varying ages at our annual Back to School treat in August. We were also able to help the some of the sick with medical expenses, inclusive of doctor bills and medication.
We commend the church and pray they continue the mandate given by God to be a servant to others and help bring men and women to know Christ which will make a difference in their lives. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Keep working till the Master comes.
We salute you.
